The Upgrade! Wednesday 31st May 7pm
Calum Stirling is a highly skilled and articulate Glasgow based artist
whose practice encompasses sculpture, sound objects and moving image
works and installations. His wide ranging investigations includes
gallery art, art in context projects, design prototypes, and sound
design for film and television.
Calum is best known for his sound based work and very engaging
sculptural installations employing adapted media, DIY aesthetics and the
poetic misuse of technology.
He has previously exhibited at the Generali Foundation in Vienna,
Transmediale in Berlin, The National Gallery of Australia, The Design
Museum in London and the CCA, Glasgow.
