I used to use this one a lot for a History of Chemistry column I used to do:
http://web.lemoyne.edu/~giunta/week.html
Also Wikkipedia the on-line encyclopaedia has an 'on this day' section - not
sure if you can narrow it down to just science.
NB: Do remember to check and double check though as often these on-line
sources get it wrong and the mistake can be followed through a whole stream
of websites that all feed off each other!

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Science anniversaries
Hi
Does anyone know of a website that lists the dates of science anniversaries?
I know http://www.todayinsci.com/ but that only lets you see events on a
particular day, I want to be able to browse for interesting events on any
day so that I can pick out ones I'm interested in.
thanks
Nicola
