I worked with Josh on a couple of projects at the Museum.
A couple of years ago Josh and I were in the same bunch who entered Famelab at the
Manchester Science and Industry Museum. He first did a lovely piece on the Van der Waals
effect using talc and a piece of glass. In the heat final he got the audience making paper
aeroplanes (one of my 9 year olds still remembers this today). Unfortunately, it took too
long to fold the planes which the judges didn't like. Josh rather robustly told the judges that
as communication officer at MSIM, his job was to keep the punters in the audience happy,
not the judges! Unsurprisingly he didn't get through, but he was spot on.
I'll miss him.
