the x-change team
The BA Festival of Science 2006
University of East Anglia, 3-8 September
The BA Science in Society team is looking for volunteers to help run the
x-change at this year's BA Festival of Science. An excellent
opportunity to gain experience in running science communication events,
working alongside BBC journalist Quentin Cooper, you will be involved in
the whole production of the event from speaker selection to event
management each night. Also an excellent opportunity to take part in
the UK's longest-established science festival, which sees thousands of
people participating in talks and discussions on the burning issues in
science.
For application information visit: http://www.the-ba.net/x-change
This is a work experience placement. Accommodation, travel and lunch
will be provided.
