with deism.)
Previously, I picked up on the reference to Prof. Kenneth Miller
because his existence proves a point. He and many like him cannot be
dismissed on the basis of presumed untenability. He would have been
unable to respond to that loaded opinion poll because he is a sound,
100% Darwinian evolutionist. For such people, 'theistic evolution' is
a theological position, a reconciliation, not some dodgy dilution of science.
Reconciliation, and more sensitivity, are what this failing area of
science communication desperately needs...
