guess the list might be interested in responses to this so i'll post them
here.
> What are the most popular shows for KS2 outreach?
just about anything, we give shows on the whole range of national curriculum
topics.
> How long are the shows?
all ours are 30 mins, bottom end of k.s 2 struggle with longer than that,
however we have middle schools here and they often have a lesson structure
40-50 min slots to fill.
> How much equipment do you take?
as little as possible. We always ask for 30 mins set up and breakdown time
but often have less as schools need you out of their hall to get lunch
ready.
> What kind of packaging do you use for the equipment?
simple boxes, try to avoid using anything that's likely to get broken cos it
will get broken
> Does the equipment fit in a car?
oh yes, many of my shows can be carried on the train.
good luck
