Nominations open now - closing date 21 February 2007
Nominate yourself or a colleague for this prestigious award worth £10,000 to reward UK-practising scientists or science communicators who engage in science in society activity, including the social and ethical aspects of science.
Awarded by the Royal Society with the generous support of the Kohn Foundation, the award is for people whose engagement activities are high quality and have current or potential impact; it targets those who are five to twenty years into their career. Preference will be given to engagement that takes the form of dialogue or consultation, where the views and opinions of the audience are respected and reflected upon. The winner will receive a silver gilt medal, a gift of £2500 and a grant of £7500 for further engagement activities.
The closing date for nominations is 21 February 2007.
