Have just seen the million-volt Faraday cage demo in a new movie currently showing in the US. In "The Prestige", David Bowie stars as Nikola Tesla, and Tesla Coil demos take (literally) centre stage in the film. Might be worth bearing in mind for timely tie-in press / publicity, if you hadn't clocked it already.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Theatre of Science off-broadway
Just to say that next week Simon Singh and I take Theatre of Science for a
short off-broadway run. As far as we know, if it the first time a science
show has been staged there, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
We are doing the 'million volts on stage' demo, and so far there has been
quite a bit of US interest in the idea of putting science on stage.
