Last year I gave a talk at a careers day for 6th Formers on careers in PR,
they have asked me back this year but unfortunately I can't help - the date
is Monday June 19th and there are two sessions for talks 9.45-10.30 am and
11.00-11.45 am so you could do either (they don't expect you to do both).
The location is North London (Camden area) and it is a consortium of 6th
Forms that organises the event. Last year there were about 30 odd students
in the talk and they choose which talks they go to so they do have a vague
interest in the area already. I thoroughly enjoyed it last year and it is
good to take some time out to pass on some words of wisdom to folk trying to
make their way in the world. Also quite a challenge if you are not used to
talking to teenagers. If you think you might wish to do this then let me
know and I will pass on your details - thanks - Sallie
