Hi,
A book which comes to my mind first is Larry Small's "Fundamentals of
Phonetics"
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0205419127/
An audio CD comes with the book, which covers some of the exercises.
Much of the exercises are concerned with transcription. Two more
CDs/cassettes to cover all(?) of the exercises have to be bought
separately, at least with my edition of the book published in 1999. I do
not know anything about the current edition published in 2004.
Another which comes to my mind is Teschner & Whitley's "Pronouncing
English: A Stress-Based Approach with CD-ROM."
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1589010027/
This book seems to more or less complement Small's book, which has very
little to say about stress.
I hope this helps.
