Dear Terry
I had the book in hand when I wrote to you. It was a mere descriction
of what was in front of me. However , when I downloaded the first image
I recognised it immediately for what they were since we had met Victor
Papanek at NID in 1979 January when he had visited the Institute to
attend the UNIDO-ICSID Conference on Design for Development that was
held back-to-back at NID, Ahmedabad and IDC, IIT Mumbai. Papanek was
already a celebrity at NID and we were highly the influenced young
faculty and students after reading the book and the images were
immitated for all forms of expression and system models and the other
