Hi,
Could anyone working in the NHS environment who is regularly carrying
out clinical audit please share information with me regarding the most
appropriate way of doing this? In my department we have recently set up
a monthly Clinical Audit day. We close the department and discuss issues
which have arisen over the previous four weeks. Anyone who has attended
a study day feeds back information from the day and topical issues are
discussed, such as the Flu Pandemic, the increase in Measles etc..
However, concerns have been voiced that this is not the best use of the
day and more audit needs to be taking place! Could anyone please advise
me on a more audit-focussed approach?
Thank you all in anticipation,
Rita
