Dear All,
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University
College London is developing a new MSc programme in Earthquake Engineering
with Disaster Management, to be launched in September 2007.
The goal of the programme is to give graduates an understanding of the
social, political and economic effects of earthquake events, to impart the
skills required to work effectively as part of wider disaster management
initiatives, and to learn to use a holistic approach when creating hazard-
proof designs for any area of the world.
Our course contains taught elements as well as a research project
component that will give students the opportunity to apply their learnt
skills.
We are looking for potential partners who would like to collaborate with
us, by sponsoring or supervising MSc research projects, or by delivering
seminars and lectures. We are also recruiting students for the next
academic year.
If you would be interested in working or studying with us and would like
further details, please do not hesitate to contact me.
More information on the Course, including a detailed description can be
found on our website:

Please also forward this to anyone who might be interested.
Many thanks,
Bhupinder
