Advanced announcement
XX INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MOLECULAR ENERGY TRANSFER (COMET XX)
The International Conference on Molecular Energy Transfer is run every
four years in Europe in alternation with the Gordon Research Conference of
the same name. The XXth edition will take place from Sunday June 3 to
Thursday June 7 2007 in Arcachon, France, a seaside resort famous for its
basin opening onto the Atlantic Ocean, 60 km from Bordeaux.
COMET XX will highlight the most recent experimental and theoretical
advances in the field, including: energy transfer in extreme conditions,
in clusters, at interfaces, in biologically relevant systems, in photon-
matter interactions and in chemical reactions. Sessions will include
invited lectures, hot topics and posters.
The conference will be preceded by a one day Graduate Research Seminar on
Molecular Energy Transfer. PhD students and post-doctoral fellows will
present their work either as talks or posters and 3 contributions will be
selected by the young researchers themselves for inclusion as hot topics
in the conference.
Please bookmark these dates in your calendar.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the conference.
