You are warmly invited to participate in the 1st European Chemistry
Congress, to be held in Budapest on 27- 31 August 2006. The Congress,
the first of its kind, is organised by EuCheMS (European Association for
Chemical and Molecular Sciences) and co-sponsored by GDCh, RSC and SFC.

Six Nobel laureates will speak at the meeting - Paul Crutzen, Jean-Marie
Lehn, George Olah, John Walker, Kurt Wüthrich and Ahmed Zewail. The
scientific programme for this four-day event will include plenary,
keynote, and invited lectures as well as contributed oral communications
and poster sessions.
There are several special symposia taking place during the meeting
including "New Developments in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry"
with invited lectures from Michael Robb, Joachim Werner, Wilfred van
Gunsteren and Evert Jan Baerends. You are stongly encouraged to submit
an abstract for oral or poster presentation.
Bursaries are available to attend the meeting for younger members of the
Royal Society of Chemistry. Details can be found in
