Two computational-chemistry postdoctoral positions are available immediately
in the group of Dr. Diego Troya at Virginia Tech (Department of Chemistry).
Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. in computational/theoretical
chemistry. Experience with electronic-structure calculations of
potential-energy surfaces, reaction-dynamics calculations,
molecular-mechanics simulations, and/or Fortran programming is highly desirable.
The first position is funded by the NSF and involves study of the dynamics
of collisions between gas-phase radicals and organic surfaces. The second
position is funded by the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research and
involves study of the dynamics of gas-phase and gas-surface collisions
at high energy.
To apply, please send a CV with a list of publications and the names and
addresses of two referees to [log in to unmask]
Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the
positions are filled.
