Dear Colleagues:
I am building from scratch a small accelerator laboratory to study
anion-neutral reactions. Initial studies will use atomic systems (H-) but
future studies will be extended to molecular reactants. The experiments
will be carried out under UHV conditions.
In order to stretch my research funds as far as possible I am hoping to be
able to find or purchase surplus equipment. I list here a number of the
items which we are hope to be able to find from surplus:
Duoplasmatron ion source for producing H- beams
90 degree bending magnet w/double focusing (B fields of 0.073 to 0.44 T)
Nd:Yag laser
Turbomolecular pumps
Scroll pumps
Ion pumps
UHV vacuum components (crosses, T's, flanges, etc.)
NIM bins
Racks for mounting units
Ion gauge controllers
Power supplies
Current meters
Pre-amps
Amps
Discriminators
Etc.
If anyone has any information about how I might be able to obtain these
item, I would greatly appreciate it if they would contact me.
Additionally, please feel free to distribute this email to your
colleagues. You help is greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
