You are cordially invited to participate in an international workshop
on Logistics and Supply Chain Management organized by the Institute of
Information Systems, University of Hamburg in cooperation with the
University of California, Berkeley and the RWTH Aachen University.
This workshop explores the impact of advanced and emerging information
and communication technologies on Logistics and Supply Chain
Management. Certainly, any researcher in this field is welcome to
participate and participation is not limited to European and North
American participants.
Focus and Topics
The workshop focuses on quantitative approaches in Logistics and
Supply Chain Management, and is tentatively structured around the
following topics:
* Quantitative Methods in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Strategic, Tactical, and Operational Planning of Complex Logistics
Networks
- Optimization of Distribution Networks and Multimodal Transportation,
including vehicle routing, scheduling and facility location
* Technology & Software Solutions
- IT in support of Logistics
- Real-world applications

A CD with extended abstracts and full papers will be provided to every
workshop participant. A refereed proceedings under an ISBN/ISSN number
will be provided after the conference.
