The Lewis Department of Humanities seeks an historian of science and
technology. Research and teaching areas of particular interest
include interactions among science, engineering, technology, and the
wider society; and public understanding of technology and
science. We welcome applicants whose work focuses on any part of the
world within the past two centuries. Salary
competitive. Required: Ph.D. prior to appointment; evidence of
research promise. Evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching
