Studies in the School of Arts at Brunel University.
Lecturer in Film and Television Studies
Salary: Lec B £31,882 - £40,938 p.a. including London Weighting
The University wishes to appoint a lecturer with a good research profile
to join an outstanding team in Film and TV Studies in the School of Arts.
You will contribute to teaching on a range of undergraduate modules, with
a particular emphasis on documentary and practical production modules that
combine theory and practice, and will be a researcher whose work can
contribute to the Screen Media Research Centre submission to the 2008 RAE.
The successful applicant will also contribute to a successful new MA in
Documentary Practice.
You should have a good Honours degree and an advanced postgraduate
qualification (PhD, either finished or nearing completion) within the
field of film and television studies. An active commitment to research is
essential, as is experience of teaching in higher education.
