The problem is, indeed, an encoding one (and HTML related). For some
reason (I guess to do with the original webmail editor) these messages
are being sent with URL-encoding (i.e. every character other than
a-z,A-Z, 0-9 and a few others are replaced by the string =NN where NN is
the base 16 code for the character, such as =20 means space).
The source of the message arrives like this but my mail client
(Thunderbird) translates it back correctly for me. I don't have a Eudora
to hand, but I suggest trying changing your 'character encoding' options
and see if that improves things.
