Joe, I got a few messages like this as well, even in non-digest mode,
but only on the MCG list (I am on other jiscmail lists, too). I thought
it might be a simple encoding issue or that it has to do with html vs.
non-html mails, but I have not yet found a solution. I use Thunderbird
for emails. So I would be happy as well if anyone knew how to deal with
this as the messages are really difficult to read.
