Hi Ian,
Have you thought of entering event information into a social space such as
http://eventful.com/ ?
It's free and seems to be quite flexible if you use tagging (keywords) and
you can upload images. There might be an opportunity to redisplay events via
RSS (using tags to split events into themes, locations etc) on another
website.
Just an idea!
