Hello all,
Just to add to this Bolton have a project rather than a case study at
www.wikiville.org.uk
Not quite a wiki being used to teach children more of a community for
school age children or a
"Global Village - Where 21st Century students can together tell their
story of life where they live."
Only just been introduced to his myself and it is very much in tune with
the Every Child Matters agenda as far as I can see at this stage.

Subject: Use of wikis with children and in schools - UK
Hi all,
Had a query from someone attending the East of England ISG event in
Cambridge yesterday (Let's Get Wiki'd). They wanted to know if there are
any examples or case studies of wikis being used to teach children in
the UK. (Please note UK!).
A very quick search found me the following two documents:
Futurelab - Research - Discussion Papers: Using wikis in schools
http://www.futurelab.org.uk/research/discuss/05discuss01.htm
EducationGuardian.co.uk | Evaluate | The writing's on the wall for paper
and pencil
http://education.guardian.co.uk/evaluate/story/0,,1775347,00.html
Does anyone know of any other examples?
Thanks
