The London and South-east Divisions of the Career Development Group (CDG) of CILIP invite you to visit Lambeth Palace Library.
Lambeth Palace Library is the historic library of the Archbishops of Canterbury and the principle library and record office for the history of the Church of England.
Founded in 1610 by Archbishop Bancroft its collections have been available for research ever since.
Focusing on ecclesiastical history its rich collections are important for a variety of topics not least the history of art and English social, political and economic history.
Our visit includes a viewing of an exhibition in the Great Hall, accompanied by a short talk about the library.
