The Department of Information Science at City University London is pleased
to announce the start of a new Masters course in Healthcare and
Pharmaceutical Information (HaPI), from October 2006.
The course is aimed anyone wishing to start, or develop, a career in
library/information services in healthcare settings.
The course may be followed full-time (requiring 2 days a week termtime
attendance over one year), part-time (one day a week over two years), or
in flexible mode (a blend of e-learning and face-to-face contact over one
or two years).
A PG Certificate may be gained after the equivalent of one year's
part-time study, a PG Diploma after the equivalent of one year's
full-time study, and a Masters qualification after additionally completing
a dissertation project.
The course is part of City Postgraduate Information Studies Scheme. Topics

- Health and Pharmacutical Information Domains
- Clinical Records
- Information for Decisions in Healthcare
- Digital Information Technology and Architectures
