Now he doesn't look like your stereotypical tory does he - middle aged
man in grey suit with receding hair line - not a bit of it...

Personally I think he could easily pass as an archtypal librarian (which
is high praise, and very generous)
This may just be sour grapes on my part as I kinda thought my new burka
made me look pretty damn sexy - shame I may soon be no longer allowed to
cover up and wear it, what a quandary, I mean just what do they want me
to wear? The previous attire of thong sticking out over my trousers and
just below the muffin tops while useful for holding small office
essentials close, drew complaints from Health and Safety as they felt
that staples and elastic under so much pressure was not good in public
spaces.
Personally, while irritating, it is a sign of the times that even
librarians are expected to have style over substance - guess if we're
all busy titivating ourselves we won't notice what the politicians etc
are trying to slip past us or any erosions of information freedom.
Still a clothing budget (or account at Jenners) may just help me forget
any scruples.
cheers, J
