it was easier to read something "racy" -
so it can include illustrations, then?

I went to an interesting talk about a year ago on the pilot of e-books
in a public library. One of the fascinating results of their survey was
that the type of book popular in e-format wasnt what that had
envisioned. They thought this was because it was easier to read
something "racy" or "dry" or out of character (men in striped suits
reading Mills & Boon) on the bus in e-format - no-one could see the
front cover!
