An enthusiastic and experienced person is required to join a team providing library and information services to health care staff in a large teaching hospital. The service is multidisciplinary and operates from two service points, at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals. The postholder should have experience of working in libraries or a customer care environment and of dealing with enquiries and maintaining daily routines.
Experience of using electronic resources, including the Internet, is essential.
Good communications skills, a methodical approach to routines, a flexible approach to working and a willingness to work as part of a team are also important requirements. Working one late night till 7.00 pm each week.
