Clinical Librarian

UHL NHS Libraries at Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital
Both posts are advertised as follows:

Cross-site working across all three UHL sites is required
UHL NHS Trust libraries provide a multidisciplinary information service. These two posts involve close working with clinical and corporate directorates as well as being part of our management team to assist in maintaining and developing service wide systems, facilities and services.
Clinical Librarian
Clinical Librarianship proactively supports clinical governance and the use of evidence in clinical practice. One of three clinical librarians at UHL, you will join identified multidisciplinary clinical teams and provide specific, quality filtered information to clinical staff, supporting the decision making process.

IT & E-learning Librarian
The IT & E-Learning post combines systems, web development and the emerging new area of e-learning in the NHS. This involves supporting the creation of e-learning and co-ordinating its promotion and evaluation.

* Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library or information environment,
