Intute: The best of the web
We are pleased to announce that the Intute service was launched on
Thursday 13th July 2006. Intute is the new face of the Resource
Discovery Network (RDN), and is a free national service enabling
lecturers, researchers and students to discover and access quality
Internet resources. Intute exists to advance education and research by
promoting the most intelligent use of the Internet.
Intute: Health and Life Sciences replaces the former BIOME service and
provides information and tools to help you access the best of the Web in
the health and life sciences.
Can you help us to publicise these changes to your subject community,
either by placing a news item on your own web site and/or publication?
If you would like us to provide some text or an article please feel free
to get in touch.
In addition, if you currently have links to the BIOME service from your
site and/or publications please update these to point to the new Intute:
Health and Life Sciences service at:
http://www.intute.ac.uk/healthandlifesciences/
Furthermore, if you specifically linked to our subject gateways then the
