Scientist who shares our commitment to creating accessible, usable and

Minervation Ltd is a dynamic, growing company which specialises in 
evidence-based knowledge solutions in health care. We work with a 
variety of clients in the UK and across Europe, including government 
health organisations, charities, EU projects and universities.
We are looking for an Information Scientist to join our relaxed and 
friendly Oxford-based team and help us to deliver high profile health 
web and knowledge management projects. We would like to find a reliable, 
energetic, hard working professional with excellent communication skills 
and experience of web content and knowledge management in health care.

The successful candidate will combine these skills with a pragmatic and 
flexible approach. As a young company, we need someone who can balance 
competing demands and help us to develop the business to meet the 
changing needs of our customer base.

*Essential skills:*

    * Literature searching across a range of health and social care
      databases
    * Excellent written and oral communication skills
    * Proven ability to work in a team

*Desirable skills:*

    * Experience in developing health care web sites
    * Knowledge of Evidence-Based Health Care
    * Experience of managing web projects
    * Ability to think creatively
    * Willingness to travel abroad if necessary

*Responsibilities:*

    * Conducting rigorous literature searches for a variety of clinical
      and non-clinical topics
    * Providing training and consultancy advice
    * Ensuring project milestones are delivered on time and to budget
    * Working with the management team to identify business development
      opportunities
    * Assisting in designing technical solutions
    * Project management
    * Business development

Salary is negotiable depending on your background and performance. We
