The Career Development Group London & South East Divisions Annual
General Meeting will be held at the Swedenborg Society, 20-21 Bloomsbury
Way, London WC1 on Thursday 4th May from 6.30pm.

The theme for this year's event is "Climbing the Ladder - what the
Career Development Group can do for you". The event is sponsored by Sue
Hill Recruitment Limited.
Find out how to make the most of career development opportunities. Our
guest speakers will reflect on their own experiences of personal and
professional development and answer questions. Learn how active
involvement in groups can benefit you - professionally and socially!
Come along, be inspired and find out what the Career Development Group
can offer you whether new to the profession or seeking a kick-start.
There will also be a raffle to raise funds for CDG international
projects with some exciting prizes courtesy of Sue Hill.
The panel for the evening comprises Joanna Ball (CDG Past President, &
Sub-Librarian, Trinity College Library, Cambridge); Barry Cropper (CILIP
Councillor & Assistant Director, City of London libraries and archives)
and Ian Snowley (CILIP President elect 2006-07 & Director of Academic
Services at University of London).
