On 9 June CURL and SCONUL will be running a one-day seminar on research spaces, to begin discussion on issues such as what physical and virtual research space is, whether it is different from learning space, how it should be configured, whether different disciplines have different requirements, whether it should be in the Library, how we support it, and so on.
The seminar will be for those who are or will be involved in the planning, designing and support of research spaces, and will be held at the University of Birmingham.
A programme and booking form are on the CURL and SCONUL Web sites: www.curl.ac.uk <http://www.curl.ac.uk/> and www.sconul.ac.uk <http://www.sconul.ac.uk/> .
If you have any questions about the day please contact Mary Hunt Head of Business Services, Open University Library (01908 652672; [log in to unmask]) or me.
