Information Specialist (Engineering) £23,061 - £26,610 per annum
We are seeking a qualified information professional, preferably with a degree in a relevant area, to deliver a knowledgeable, responsive and tailored suite of services in the Engineering subject discipline to students, researchers and academic and military staff. You will undertake academic liaison; collection building, maintenance and management across all types of stock (print and electronic); enquiry services; and information literacy development, within the context of a library service operating to the highest standards of customer care and quality. You will also contribute to overall library operations and services, and manage the library assistants associated with your subject team. You will also be expected to undertake regular evening and weekend duties.

Weekend and Evening Staff £13,821 - £26,610 per annum pro rata (depending on qualifications & experience)
We are seeking both qualified information professionals and library assistants to cover our extended opening hours in the evenings and at weekends. From September we will be opening until 10pm on weekday evenings, and from 9am until 6pm on Saturdays, and from 11am until 4pm on Sundays. If you have an interest in working in a high quality library service and have good communication skills and relevant experience in a service context, we would like to hear from you.
