Dear all
Do you know a secondary school teacher? Perhaps you can help...
Netskills has been awarded funding by the Eduserv Information Literacy Initiative to run two pilot workshop programmes for the schools sector - places are free to attend. We are also conducting a short survey into how secondary school teachers use information.
If you know any teachers, we would be very grateful for any help you can provide in promoting the free workshop places and online survey (a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher!).
The workshop dates and locations are below:
**Information Skills for Teachers: Is Google Enough?** (aimed at secondary school teachers)
Fri 20 October 2006 - Newcastle University
Mon 30 October 2006 - Newcastle University
**Exploring and Deterring Plagiarism in Schools** (aimed at teachers and support staff)
Thu 2 November 2006 - Manchester Computing
Wed 8 November 2006 - Newcastle University
Thu 9 November 2006 - South Camden City Learning Centre
Mon 13 November 2006 - Edinburgh University
To book on workshops or fill in the survey go to:

We also have a page about the projects which has some leaflets that can be downloaded and used for publicity:

Best wishes
