Are you thinking about evaluating your electronic library services,
including their impact on information skills, but don’t know where to
start?
The evalued toolkit (www.evalued.uce.ac.uk) is designed to support
information services staff in Higher and Further Education Institutions
with the evaluation of electronic information services (EIS). Evalued
focuses on qualitative evaluation techniques, so it is ideal for anyone
interested in evaluating the impact of electronic services or user needs
for example.
For anyone interested in making practical use of the toolkit within their
institution we are running an Introduction to evalued session in
Manchester on Thursday 19th October.
At the end of the half day session, you will have a ‘tool’ (eg a survey)
which you can take away and use and a basic implementation plan to help
you to organise the evaluation in your institution.
To book a place, download a booking form from
http://www.ebase.uce.ac.uk/docs/contribute/introToEvalued_000.pdf
The cost of the session will be £50. Places are limited.
