Dear Maggie
Likewise, Edinburgh University uses ILLOS alongside Voyager. We
currently have 8 ILLOS accounts across the sites, although at one stage
we had 10 or 11. We have been very pleased with its functionality and
the backup from the staff at Lancaster. Nevertheless, we are getting to
the stage where we really something that speaks to other ILL systems and
ideally to our own management system.
We have looked at the Voyager module on a couple of occasions, but
although it is integrated, there are several aspects of it that are
definitely not as good as even the current version of ILLOS. We are
obviously very interested in seeing ILLOS-NG which is currently being
developed by Lancaster, but we will also be looking at other systems at
the same time.

Maggie,
Cardiff University use it with Voyager, and we are quite satisfied with
it. It was certainly better than the opposition when we bought it. The
back-up is very good, staff are very helpful.

Hello ILL Depts,
We would welcome comments from any academic institutions using the
ILL stand-alone package Lancaster ILLOS.
Basically we would like to know its performance rating, & how
satisfied you are generally. Can you also indicate with which automated
library system you run it.
Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
Regards,
Maggie
