I am carrying out a review of ILL systems currently with a view to getting a
clear picture of how our ILL workflow should operate and what
software/systems there are to support this.
For software/systems we currently use Lancaster ILLOS and Innovative's ILL
module (at different sites). The Ringgold Directory
(http://www.ringgold.com/directory/cfm/ringgold_dir.cfm) has a limited list
of others, including add-on modules for most other library systems:
- OCLC ILLiad and VDX (both OCLC's original and Fretwell-Downing's offering)
- Talis Source (the shared union catalogue)
- K-Int OpenRequest (an open source development kit for in-house use)
Does anyone have any others that can be added to this list that are worth a
view?
Separately, does anyone know of any resources that describe ILL workflow, or
is this considered to be too local to generalise?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Regards,
Chris Awre
