Dear Nick,
The suggestion was mine, made on the thread entitled: RE: Icon Confusion
- The Case of the MetaPress Glasses...
<<Lesley
Spot on. I believe all other online platforms make the distinction
between subscribed content and freebies, so why not MetaPress?
Just as the publishers/ALPSP have formed a progressive Transfer "working
group", perhaps we need a similar kind of vehicle so that e-subscribers
can iron out an array of issues with publishers, agents and online
hosts, or is there such a beast already? Probably a bit too nebulous for
a Friday afternoon...>>
Warmest regards,
Dominic

Dear Sally
I'm afraid I didn't receive the original suggestion about setting up
this group - could you resend? It sounds like an interesting idea and
I'd like to consider becoming involved if that would appropriate.
Best wishes
Nick

ALPSP welcomes Dominic's suggestion to set up a group to work with the
library community (and others who might be relevant - journal hosts,
library systems vendors for example) on this and any other mutual
problems.
If anyone who is interested in participating would let me know, we'll
get a kick-off meeting together to frame the issue(s) we want to discuss
in the first instance.
