Thanks a lot guys for all your help,
the variable PATH was pointing to /usr/bin before pointing to the TAR_UI
python, so that's why it wasn't working. I changed the order in the
variable and now it uses the right python. To this server I have access
only as user and not as root, and I didn't know that there was another
version of python installed.
