Hello everyone,
It has been a while since the last Neolithic Italy / Mediterranean
studies seminar, so hopefully there are lots of research ideas out
there that need discussing. For anyone who has not been before,
these are informal seminars with the intention to present and discuss
current research.
To keep the theme broad, maybe we could centre the seminar on "Social
Change" or if you prefer, "What I did during my summer research
period". Let me know which topic you find more inspiring, and if you
are willing to offer a presentation (c. 20mins). It would be good to
follow this with a forum on "Policy and Archaeological Practice" for
suggestions as to fieldwork and research practices.
I have booked a room for the 8th November at the Institute of
Archaeology, UCL. This is a Wednesday afternoon, 2-6pm during
reading week, so hopefully it is convenient. If anyone objects to
meeting in London again and would like to offer a venue elsewhere
then feel free to do so.
Please forward this email to any colleagues who are not on this list,
who you think might be interested in attending the seminar.
Kind regards,
Susanna Harris
