Apols for this second posting, but I hadn't realised our internal deadline
for these ESRC studentships was so soon - 31st March (see
http://www.education.ed.ac.uk/research/graduate-school/awards/
index.html). This therefore is just a quick followup email to alert
folks to this - wouldn't want to miss any good ID candidates because of my
stupidity in not checking the fine print before forwarding it on to you
all (Richard, this is not an opening for some rude comment from you - try
to resist for once).
All the best - and advance thanks for anyone you can send us....
Jennifer

Subject: Fwd: ESRC PhD studenships (ID applics. esp. welcome!)
To: [log in to unmask]
We have 2 ESRC quota studentships for the upcoming academic year, based at
Moray House School of Education, The University of Edinburgh. More
details about the School's research and areas of supervision can be found
on our webpage and in the advertisement links below. I'd be grateful if
you could alert any of your (brightest!) students who might be thinking of
pg research of these openings, especially of course any interested in
working in the area of intellectual disabilities. We have a number of
staff with core interests in ID, we're keen to recruit more pgs into this
area and we promise to look after them well. What more can I say?
Edinburgh, of course, also has many non-academic attractions as a pg
base... Here are the links:

Please feel free to f/w this email to anyone as appropriate. I'd be
happy to field any informal enquiries, either by email or telephone (away
3-11th April but should be able to pick up emails).
Thanks.
All the best
Jennifer
