*** New Humbul booklet: Internet Resources for Modern Languages ***
The Humbul Humanities Hub is pleased to announce the publication of 'Internet Resources for Modern Languages', a 16-page booklet detailing some of the best online resources for language, literature and area studies. Rather than a comprehensive guide, we hope the booklet will give you a taste of the range of resources available on the Internet.
Humbul, http://www.humbul.ac.uk/, discovers, reviews and catalogues online resources suitable for learning, teaching and research in the humanities.
We are happy to send up to 20 copies of the printed booklets (while stocks last) to UK institutions of higher or further education - please contact us at [log in to unmask] For further details, please visit the Humbul website. The booklets are also available as downloadable pdf-files and online with full Humbul descriptions and clickable links: see http://www.humbul.ac.uk/langlit-all/booklet/.
New editions of 'Internet Resources for English' and 'Internet Resources for History' are also available.
We welcome your feedback and comments about either 'Internet Resources for Modern Languages' or Humbul in general. Please contact us via [log in to unmask]
*** Service changes in 2006 ***
During 2006 the Resource Discovery Network (RDN), of which Humbul is a part, will undergo fundamental strategic change. There are three key areas for change: New subject groupings, Technical integration, and Change of Name and Re-launch. More information about the forthcoming changes can be found on our Strategic Change page (http://www.humbul.ac.uk/about/rdn_change.html) and on the new RDN Development pages (http://www.intute.ac.uk/development/).
