Research Associate/Fellow in Virtual Reality (2 posts)
Salary up to £24,352 pa
Available immediately for 2 years
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to take up two
posts of Research Associate/Research Fellow in Virtual Reality: one at the
University of Leicester and one at the University of Nottingham, within
the SPatial Literacy IN Teaching (SPLINT) Centre for Excellence in
Teaching and Learning (CETL).
The post-holders will be responsible for research into the use of virtual
reality and mobile technologies for teaching and learning.
A good honours degree and relevant postgraduate qualification and/or
experience are essential. Strong programming skills in C++/Java are
required, as is an interest in visualisation and 3D modelling. Prior
knowledge of virtual or augmented realities, and of Geographical
Information Systems or related technology, would be an advantage.
