Position: Customer Support Officer (UK and Scandinavia)

This is a crucial role providing first line technical product support for
all UK and Scandinavian based partners/customers. Working mainly on your
own initiative, you will be responsible for analysing all incoming first
line customer problems, triggering and following up further actions, and
communicating analysis, so as to provide problem solutions. You will also
be responsible for providing product support in the form of on- site
training, product information, and technical assistance for key accounts.
You will be working primarily from our New Malden office, but will travel
to various UK locations and Scandinavia, as well as to our Head Office in
Belgium. We offer a full training programme.
We are looking for a highly motivated results oriented individual. Ideally
you will have 1-2 years experience with technical and commercial
relationships gained in a high-tech environment. With a firm sense of
initiative, you will hold a relevant degree, or equivalent, and will have
project management experience. This will be combined with outstanding PC
ability (MS Office and Access, Excel and Power Point in particular) and
knowledge of GIS spatial database technology such as ArcView and Mapinfo.
You will possess a full driving license and will be flexible and able to
travel as described.
