Good afternoon,
I wanted to bring to your attention this year's Environmental and
Industrial Geophysics Group (EIGG) day conference meeting, which is to be
held at Keele University on the 12 April 2006.
This one-day event aims to showcase recent developments and good practice
in field-related investigative techniques, groundwater behaviour modelling
and the determination of hydro-geological characteristics through the study
of geophysical properties.
You can view the speaker list and other details from the conference website
(http://www.keele.ac.uk/research/epsam/conferences/hydrology-and-
geophysics/in
dex.htm). The conference starts at 10.30, so hopefully time to get down to
us if you are thinking of travelling on the day.
We are still accepting student posters, so if you know of anyone who may be
interested in presenting a poster or just attending the conference, then
please let them know. There is a flyer you can download from the website
too! We are also having exhibitor's stands, we have 4 confirmed so far. The
price for exhibiting your company is £100 but this will cover up to 2 of
your staff's registration fees so cheap really!
Please respond to the convenor if you are thinking of attending, and
indeed, print out the registration form and post to Nigel (details on
website).
Best Regards,
Jamie Pringle, Joe Lenham and Nigel Cassidy.
