Dear all,
My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this query, but I was not
sure where else to turn.
A while ago, I posted a question to this mailing list regarding the use of
FSL to determine total brain volume and subcortical grey matter volume
changes amongst schizophrenia patients following treatment with typical
antipsychotics. It was suggested to me at the time (thank you Stephen) that
I look into using either VBM or the FreeSurfer package, as FSL is not
specifically designed for subcortical analysis.
My question to anyone who knows is whether one can use FreeSurfer to analyse
dual-echo proton density and T2 MRI images, the modality of the images at my
disposal. From the online documentation, it seems to me that FreeSurfer can
only analyse T1 images, although I have had no luck in confirming this
through the FreeSurfer support team.
I would appreciate any help you can provide me.
Regards,
Jonathan Ipser
