Hi,
From the point of view of someone who (like me) knows very little
neuroanatomy, I think a physical desktop model would be a very nice
thing to have in addition to textbooks and digitised models,
specifically for the purpose of learning more.
For the Qs:
1) very valuable to my learning, and hence hopefully (later) to my
research, although I'm sure Joe's right that it won't make me an
instant expert!
2) quite dependent on how well-labelled, large, well-made, etc.
3) I think fairly standard colour-coding would be fine.
4) real size (if still affordable), don't think they should be smaller
than half-size or bigger than double-size (although maybe a few small
sections could be separately presented larger for finely detailed
anatomy? I don't know how useful this would be... Joe?)
Best,
Ged.
P.S. Sorry for (again) replying to the list!
