Hi,
the GUI options on the <Melodic> tab are a sub-section of all the
options available from the command-line. The <Pre-stats> tab of the
GUI calls different fsl command line tools in the same way that this
is done The easiest way of finding out how to call melodic and the
other tools from the command line only is to run study the report.log
and melodic.log files contained in the .ica folders - the calls are
logged. For more info on the pre-processing have a look at the
<Detail> part of the Feat manual http://www.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/feat5/
index.html
cheers
